Hi, I'm your tutor
I've spent the last six years helping GCSE and A-Level students turn confusion into confidence in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I studied Physics at university and have worked with over 150 students across state and independent schools, from those aiming to pass to those aiming for the top grade.
What I've learned is that most students don't struggle because the material is too hard — they struggle because no one has shown them the structure underneath it. My job is to make that structure visible, one topic at a time.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe strong STEM results come from three things: rock-solid fundamentals, deliberate practice on exam-style questions, and honest feedback. I don't just help with homework — every session fits into a broader plan tied to your target grade and exam date.
Lessons are calm, structured, and paced to the student. We spend time on the "why" behind a method, not just the steps, because that's what makes knowledge stick under exam pressure.
Clarity first
Every concept is broken down until it's genuinely understood, not just memorised.
Consistent structure
Each lesson follows a clear plan: review, teach, practice, and past-paper application.
Confidence through reps
Repeated, deliberate practice on exam questions builds genuine exam-day confidence.
